Who is responsible
Space AI Technology UK Ltd is the controller of personal information used to provide Keeptiva. Contact us at support@keeptiva.com with “Privacy” in the subject.
What Keeptiva stores
Keeptiva stores account details, user and device identifiers, photo and video originals you choose to back up, backup status, albums, sharing activity, storage-plan information, and optional search information such as dates, captions, OCR text, tags and location metadata already attached to a photo.
How information is used
We process this information to perform our contract with you by authenticating your account, protecting and restoring your library, resuming uploads, preventing duplicate storage, providing search and memories, delivering invitations you request and enforcing storage quotas. We also rely on legitimate interests to secure Keeptiva, prevent abuse, diagnose failures and operate customer support. Where consent is required, we ask before accessing your device library or enabling optional processing.
Device permissions
Photo-library access is used for backup and for Free Up Space after a cloud copy is verified. Location access is limited to metadata already associated with a photo or a location you choose to verify. Biometrics stay with your device and are used only to unlock Locked Folder locally; Keeptiva does not receive your fingerprint or face template.
Storage, AI processing and service providers
Originals are kept in private cloud storage protected by account access rules; they are not placed in a public bucket. Keeptiva uses specialist providers to operate the service, including Supabase for account and database services, Cloudflare R2 for private object storage, Google Cloud Vision and AWS Rekognition for enabled media analysis, Resend for invitations and service email, and Stripe for web billing. These providers process information only to provide their contracted service. We disclose content to people you deliberately invite or share with, to these service providers, or when legally required.
Retention and deletion
Recently deleted originals are retained for the recovery period shown in the product, then purged. You can request permanent account deletion from Keeptiva Settings. The deletion process removes account data and stored originals, subject to limited records we must retain for security, fraud prevention or legal obligations.
Security and your choices
Keeptiva uses encrypted network connections, private storage access rules and verified upload completion. You can turn automatic backup, video backup, Wi-Fi-only uploads, search preferences and sharing features on or off. No online service can promise absolute security.
International transfers
Keeptiva is available internationally and some providers may process information outside your country. Where required, we use contractual and organisational safeguards intended to protect personal information during those transfers.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent for optional processing. You can delete your account inside Keeptiva. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority; in the United Kingdom this is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Children
Keeptiva is not directed to children under 13. Where local law requires a higher age for independent consent, a parent or guardian must authorise use. Family and baby features are designed for an adult account holder.
